Materials You’ll Need
1 Glass Jar
Different Seashells
Starfish decorations
Glitter in 3 different colors and sizes
Warm Water
About 150 g Gel Wax
Blue Candle Dye: 4 drops
About 150 g Soy Wax for Container Candles
Candle Fragrance Oil of your choice
Candle Wick
Important Tips
Clean the glass jar well before starting to make sure there is no dust or lint inside.
Spread the seashells and starfish around the bottom of the jar for a more natural ocean look.
Add as much glitter as you like and experiment with different colors and sizes.
Pour the warm water slowly and fill the jar approximately halfway.
Melt the gel wax at a low temperature and add the blue candle dye gradually.
Pour the gel wax gently over the water to avoid disturbing the decorations.
Place the wick while the gel wax is still setting.
For the top layer, let the soy wax cool to below 50°C before pouring.
This helps prevent the gel wax from melting and keeps the colors from mixing.
Pour the soy wax slowly and allow the candle to cool completely.
Let the candle set for about 1 hour before handling.
A Little Reminder
Always follow the safety instructions provided by your wax, fragrance, dye, jar, and wick manufacturers. Test your finished candle before burning it, and never leave a burning candle unattended.
